The Fiat 600 Jolly was a mini car or city car produced by Fiat, and
designed to be stored on the fronts of yachts and then off-loaded
once at the port to go island hopping in the Mediterranean.
Designed to fit 4 people and their luggage, it could squeeze
through the narrow and often times difficult to pass streets.
Approximately 200 Fiat Jolly's were produced between 1958 and 1961.
Of those 200 cars, 32 were used as taxis on the island of Catalina
off the coast of Los Angeles. Leaving the rest to be individualized
by their owners, so no two are identical. Today there are less than
100 original known examples left in existence.
This Fiat Jolly 600 had one owner from new until 2019! It was
expertly restored in the Netherlands. It has been unmodified from
its original specifications and is as fine an example as you will
find anywhere in the world. It was sold in 2019 to its most recent
owner-collector by Autosport Designs. Since, it has been kept in
his collection and used sparingly until recently traded to
Autosport Designs, towards another automobile from our
inventory.
It has recently been fully serviced and ready for a new home or
yacht. It is offered with the original tool kit and bill of sale
from 1961. An extremely rare Jolly 600 with this sort of provenance
and condition does not come to market often.
