This 20th Anniversary car has been stored its entire life with only 13,500 actual miles. It has the desirable 5-speed with the 4V high-output V8. This ultra-low production Mustang is completely original including its factory original Oxford White finish and an exceptional all original Canyon Red interior. It boasts the fox body generation's iconic 5.0-liter 302ci high-output power plant. The '84 GT 350 was Ford's officially recognized Anniversary Mustang, honoring 20 years of Ford's finest moment, the Mustang. The anniversary cars were all finished in Oxford White with Canyon Red interior, and treated with the nostalgic lower rocker GT 350 triple red stripe, red body side moldings, Pony fender emblems and unique anniversary dash badge alongside the unique-to-each-anniversary car its own serialized vehicle number. The GT 350 Anniversary cars were made in limited production with a total of only 5,261 cars sold to the public. This included both coupes and convertibles and with both motor options, the four-cylinder turbo and the 5.0-liter V8. The total production for the GT 350 convertible with 5.0-liter high-output 5-speed was only 587 in total. However, there were only 282 convertibles with the 5-speed manual V8 and desirable 4v carburetors. (Automatics had fuel injection, which is not as desirable.) Options include power steering, power brakes, front discs, traction lock axel, front air dam with integrated fog lights, factory air conditioning, high back sport seats, power convertible top and AM/FM cassette with additional power amp. These Anniversary Mustangs, with low serialized production, are defiantly a late-model collector category. At present, I’m having a small air conditioning leak fixed. I am unsure as to whether the cruise control works as I believe the vacuum valve is inoperative. Otherwise all is operative. I have replaced a lot of all other items that were deteriorated by 30 years of storage in a New Mexico garage. Comes with additional carburetor (Edlebrook) (Brand new) for those that can make the change outside of CA. There are pictures of three small blemishes in the paint for full disclosure.
